Urban Fox creates twitter play ahead of Heartlands
Edinburgh company Urban Fox, which is opening this week’s Hothouse event at the Traverse with Heartlands, is staging an hour long play on Twitter.
Running from 1-2pm on Monday 9 November 2015, the twitter play will be a “brand new mini play about jaded humanitarian Charlie”, according to company artistic director Amy Gilmartin.

Although Heartlands is not a play about Twitter, as such, Dave Fargnoli’s script is one in which the social media site plays an important part. Fargnoli cleverly incorporating some of the site’s foibles into the turning of the plot.
