Comedy keeps Standing
The Stand to stream Saturday Night Live free
Edinburgh’s Stand has announced it is to live stream its Saturday Night Live show, this Saturday 21 March 2020. The stream will be free to view, with donations welcome.
With public gatherings curtailed due to COVID-19, the club is not able to stage its ususal show. However it has got together with Dabster Productions to stage a live streamed show with Mark Nelson hosting a lineup of Ryan Cullen, Vladimir McTavish, Jo Caulfield and Phill Jupitus.
Announcing the lineup, the Stand said: “The show will be streamed live from our world famous club to help bring you some much needed laughter during these difficult times.
“You will also be able to interact digitally with the acts!”
The show will be streamed live on this link here, running from 8.30pm on Saturday 21 May 2020 – with the live stream opening at 8pm.
The club adds: “The show is free to watch but there is an option to donate which will help us through these tough times.
“By donating you will help ensure the survival of your favourite club, help pay staff and acts so we can return with the live shows you love ASAP.”
