The Last Cabaret on Earth, by Brian James O’Sullivan at the Traverse, is the first in the new series of Play, Pie and a Pint from Òran Mór (with Ayr Gaiety) – and has an impact out of all proportion to its small scale.

Disfunction by Kate Bowen and directed by Lu Kemp, the last in the Traverse’s current season of Òran Mór’s A Play, A Pie and A Pint, is a lively but ultimately puzzling piece.

The subject matter of Milkshake by Rob Drummond, the latest offering at the Traverse from Oran Mor’s Play, Pie and a Pint, is intriguingly topical. Despite being acted with real conviction, however, it never quite reaches the heights it promises.
