Magic Fest Listing 2023
There is plenty of magic for all members of the family in this year’s MagicFest, which opens this week with Kevin Quantum’s Edinburgh Magic and continues into next with shows at the Storytelling Centre and Quantum’s big Christmas Special at the Church Hill Theatre.
Magic Festival spells out fifth programme
Magic will combine with theatre as the Scottish content is increased at the Edinburgh International Magic Festival, running over eight days from 27 June to 4 July.

Edinburgh’s MagicFest opens this week with a special gala production at the Lyceum on Friday and continues through to Friday 5th July, when there will be a Four Nations Magic-off at the Voodoo Rooms.
The Case of the Disappearing Illusion
Edinburgh Magic Festival was launched this morning with the festival’s Artistic Director dressed up as a lepidopterist in front of a huge black curtain at Lothian Buses’ main bus depot. But in his effort to make a bus disappear, he forgot that you have to make it appear first for your audience to be impressed.
