Edinburgh companies win half CATS 2024
Three Edinburgh companies shared half the Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland 2024 (CATS), awarded in a ceremony at the Glasgow Theatre Royal today, Sunday 16 June.
Escaped Alone

Following its Scottish premiere at The Tron earlier this month Escaped Alone, Caryl Churchill’s dystopian play that had its UK premiere at the Royal Court in 2016, comes to the Traverse for five performances only.
The After-Dinner Joke

Televisual origins and the passing of time have made much of The After-Dinner Joke, from New Celts and Agree to Disagree at theSpace on the Mile, a curiosity rather than an urgent piece of theatre. However, there is still enough to intrigue.
