The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde – Live at Leith Theatre
★★★☆☆ Mixed bag
There is much to recommend in The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde – Live at Leith Theatre, which is due to be live-streamed into cinemas on Sunday 27 with as-live screenings on March 6.
Life is a Dream

The Lyceum’s Life is a Dream is a necessary and exquisite reminder of the possibilities of live theatre. Originally planned to end the 2019/20 season, this production has emerged into a completely changed world.
PPP: Love and Death in Govan and Hyndland
★★★☆☆ Recognisable
Excellent acting and directing distinguish Love and Death in Govan and Hyndland, the latest Play, Pie and a Pint offering at the Traverse. In the end, however, the play treads overly familiar ground.

Paul Bright’s Confessions Of A Justified Sinner
✭✭✭✭✩ Justified and modern:
The International Festival’s production of Paul Bright’s Confessions Of A Justified Sinner is a hugely enjoyable meditation on truth, reality, literature, loss and the transitory yet enduring nature of artistic creation.
