Strictly Playhouse Lineup
Cast announced for Strictly Professionals tour
Casting has been announced for Strictly Come Dancing – The Professionals, with reigning Strictly champion Katya Jones leading the ten strong cast who will arrive at the Edinburgh Playhouse in May 2019.
The 18 venue, 35 date 2019 UK tour will also feature several professionals who made the Strictly finals and have become household names in their own right such as Professional World Mambo Champion Karen Clifton and last year’s finalist Gorka Marquez.

The tour kicks off at the Lowry Theatre in Salford on 3 May 2019. Pasha Kovalev who won in 2014 and has been a semi-finalist three times is joined by finalists Giovanni Pernice who made the final twice and Oti Mabuse who was a finalist two years ago.
Also performing will be last year’s semi-finalist AJ Pritchard, Australian Open Champion Dianne Buswell, Two-time Ballroom and Latin World Champion Nadiya Bychkova and undefeated four-time British National Champion Neil Jones.
Strictly Come Dancing – The Professionals will play three performances at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 May 2019. There will be two evening performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
This is not the full-on Strictly tour with judges and celebrities which normally hits the tracks in January and February with the successful celebrity contestants.
However, the producers promise: “the incredible talent of these multi award-winning world-class dancers as they perform stunningly choreographed Ballroom and Latin routines in exquisite costumes, with all the glitz, glamour, sequins and sparkle of the TV show – live on stage!”
