SCDA Timetable Announced
Performance order for One Act finals
The timetable has been announced of performances at the Scottish final of the SCDA’s One Act competition at the Church Hill Theatre, 21-23 April 2016.
The three nights will feature the eight winners and runners up from the Scottish Community Drama Association’s four regions.
The SCDA has also announced full details of the winners of the Eastern Division – together with photographic illustration of the St Serfs Players winning best moment in theatre – “The throwing of two drinks followed by a double slap”.
Leitheatre all but swept the board for their production of Michael Frayn’s Audience. They took the awards for best stage presentation, highest marks for acting and highest marks in production, as well as first place. They only missed out on best comedy – which went to St Serfs for Erica and Me by Alan Robinson.
Runner-up was Killin Drama Club with Into The Mist by Helen Wyngard, while the Grads – the Edinburgh Graduate Theatre Group – took third place with The Rose And Crown by JB Priestley.
