Pan Goes Playhouse
Peter Pan Goes Wrong tours to Playhouse in 2024
Mischief Theatre is touring the stage version of its BBC TV hit show Peter Pan Goes Wrong, with dates in Edinburgh (Feb 2024) and Glasgow (March 2024).
Tickets are now on sale for the Edinburgh Playhouse, Tue 27 Feb – Sat 2 Mar 2024 (Book here) and the Glasgow Theatre Royal, Mon 4 – Sat 9 Mar 2024, (Book here).
Co-penned by Mischief’s celebrated writing trio of Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, Peter Pan Goes Wrong is a highly physical comedy packed with finely-tuned farce and Buster Keaton inspired slapstick, delivered with split-second timing and ambitious daring.
The play sees the ‘Cornley Drama Society’ back on stage battling technical hitches, flying mishaps and cast disputes as they attempt to present J.M. Barrie’s much-loved tale. But will they ever make it to Neverland?
Nominated for an Olivier Award for ‘Best New Comedy’ in 2016, Peter Pan Goes Wrong has enjoyed two West End seasons, a tour of Australia and New Zealand and two major UK tours in 2015 (★★★★☆ Never Never stop laughing) and 2020 (★★★★☆ Nowt wrong).
The play follows Mischief’s multi award-winning sell-out success with The Play That Goes Wrong, the BBC TV series The Goes Wrong Show and tours of Magic Goes Wrong (★★★★☆ Cleverly stupid), The Comedy About A Bank Robbery (★★★☆☆ Spectacular) and the less successful Groan Ups (★★★☆☆ Flat).
