Lycett’s Edinburgh Bee
Scottish dates for Joe Lycett tour
Joe Lycett, fresh from his latest spell hosting BBC’s The Great British Sewing Bee, has announced a major UK tour for 2022, which will arrive at the Playhouse in March.
More, More, More! How Do You Lycett? How Do You Lycett? finds the artist formerly known as Hugo Boss (well, for a while at least) exploring his love of art, his passion for gardening, toying with companies on Instagram, and the perils of online trolls.
Lycett will play the Edinburgh Playhouse for two nights on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 March, 2022. The tour visits Glasgow SEC Armadillo on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 April 2022 and Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 August 2022.
He promises that his fifth tour – and the first in years – will to be “packed with more jokes, more comedy anecdotes and more arguably disturbing paintings, all in the hope of answering the age-old question: How do you Lycett?”
Lycett hosted the seventh series of The Great British Sewing Bee, which has just concluded with success for Edinburgh sewer Serena Baker and was watched by more than 6 million people each week. He is working on series three of his Bafta-nominated consumer series Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back for Channel 4.
He will also soon take over as host of travel documentary series Travel Man from Richard Ayoade.
