Festival City Theatres is today giving away a limited number of free tickets to the Wednesday show of the Madness jukebox musical, Our House.
Personal callers to either the Festival or the King’s Theatres box offices today (Monday), can claim up to two tickets each for the Wednesday evening show by quoting “Monday Madness” to the box office staff, according to the Festival Theatre website.
According to the website: “We have a limited number of tickets available (two per person) to give away so we recommend getting to one of our Box Offices early!”
The show is inspired by and features the music of Madness. A raucous musical comedy, it is billed as “an uplifting tale of life and love, heartbreak and hilarity, good and bad set in London’s Camden Town in the mid-80’s”.
“It is Joe Casey’s 16th birthday and tonight’s the night he’s treating his girlfriend Sarah to an evening in a brand new luxury apartment – the only problem is he has to break in… When the police turn up Joe has to decide – run away, or face the music – a choice that will set the course of his life, and his love, forever.”
Our House runs at the Festival Theatre from tomorrow (Tuesday) to Saturday at 7.30pm nightly, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. It is recommended for ages 12+ due to some bad language and mild sexual references.
The box offices are open from 10am to 6pm,
