EAS adds Daytime Actors’ Gym
Morning sessions for Edinburgh Acting School’s acting workout
Edinburgh Acting School’s Actors’ Gym is piloting a new monthly daytime class in addition to its regular Monday evening sessions. The first daytime session will take place on Monday 19 Feb 2024.
The Actors’ Gym is a weekly acting workout, aimed specifically at trained or professional actors. This facilitated space allows actors to keep their skills sharp, exchange knowledge and meet potential future collaborators.

The Actors’ Gym currently takes place at Marchmont St Giles on Kilgraston Rd every Monday from 7pm to 9pm and is tutored by Edinburgh-based playwright and director, Jen McGregor. The fee is £13.50 for a weekly drop-in option or £150 for a full term.

According to EAS: “The aim of these sessions is to help to facilitate stamina maintenance and to aid with technique practice. We also provide the opportunity and space for self directed scene study, aided by our skilled tutors.
