Creative Salon
Open event for performing arts at Traverse
The second Creative Salon event for Edinburgh’s performing arts community is to take place at the Traverse tonight, Tuesday 16 Feb 2016.
The free monthly event is organised by Carolyne Latham for the Edinburgh Performing Arts Development.
It is described as a gathering of the performing arts community to “discuss work and inspire each other, find artistic collaborations and form new friendships”.
It is a place for practitioners – on what ever level – to find out about the latest opportunities and resources across the performing arts.
Speakers for this month’s event include Danielle Farrow and James Beagon with a third speaker to be confirmed.
Farrow is an actress and acting coach with Discover Fine Acting. She is also the representative of the East of Scotland Equity Branch. Beagon is a writer and director who runs Aulos Productions, which is to stage a production of Julius Caesar set in the world of professional football.
The event runs 6-8pm in the Traverse bar and entry is free, but booking should be made through the event’s ticketing site: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2500525.
