Alan Carr’s Not Again, Alan! for Playhouse

Comedian and TV presenter Alan Carr will play the Edinburgh Playhouse and Glasgow King’s this September 2020 with his new show Not Again, Alan! as part of his first live stand-up tour in four years.

Tickets are now on sale for the tour, which opens in Dunfermline on September 7 and plays five further nights in Scotland, calling at Inverness, Aberdeen and Perth, before setting off into England and returning to the Glasgow King’s on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 and the Edinburgh Playhouse on Sunday 28 September.

The tour is currently only booked through until December 2020. However Carr has said: “The tour will go into 2021 too so if you’re town or city isn’t on the list for 2020 hopefully it will be there for 2021 – I’m so proud of my new show and I want everyone to see Not Again Alan!”

Carr will be musing on the things that have made his life weird and wonderful in the four years since he last went on tour.

In that time he’s managed to find himself in all sorts of dramas. Between his star-studded wedding day and becoming an accidental anarchist, from fearing for his life at border control to becoming a reluctant farmer.

This is Carr’s fourth UK solo tour, following 2007’s Tooth Fairy, Spexy Beast in 2011 and Yap, Yap, Yap! in 2015.
