Kyiv opera at Playhouse
Ellen Kent’s operas feature Ukrainian National Municipal Opera Kyiv
The Edinburgh Playhouse is hosting the Ukrainian National Municipal Opera Kyiv this week, performing in Ellen Kent Productions’ trio of operas: Tosca, Carmen and Madama Butterfly.
Singin’ in the Rain

They have turned the tap full on at the Festival Theatre this week, for the return of Jonathan Church’s phenomenal production of Singin’ in the Rain, adapted from the classic MGM movie.

After too long away, Edinburgh Theatre Arts are back in Stockbridge with their take on Passing Places, exhibiting a vibrant spirit and huge delight.
Keli – an audio drama
★★★★☆ Intense
Martin Green’s audio drama Keli, previewed earlier this month at the Lyceum, has arrived on the theatre’s Soundstage audio platform. While there is much that is odd about its presentation, it is an absolutely engrossing piece.
Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World
★★★★★ Find your joy
With a title like Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World, it’s unsurprising that the first night King’s audience for this touring production was mainly female.

What’s on Edinburgh’s stages this week…
It’s a week of big shows in Edinburgh’s theatre-land this week, although not all on the biggest stages. The EUTC has All My Sons at Teviot (Thurs-Sat), ETA is at St Ninian’s with Passing Places (Tue-Sat) and Townsend Productions is at North Edinburgh Arts with Yes! Yes! UCS! (Weds).
